Join Elizabeth and Rossella Vasta on this uniquely intimate tour to Villa Pieve (www.pieve.com), the historical and luxurious residence of the Vasta family. Surrounded by 7.8 acres of gardens and overlooking olive groves, vineyards and a castle built in the 1000s, Villa Pieve is nestled in the charming medieval town of Corciano. Through visual journaling, meditation, heart intelligence, the 8 Steps to Freedom, and more, tour participants will have the opportunity to explore forgiveness as a road to inner peace, freedom, and personal renewal.

This year's tour has been scheduled to coincide with participation in the International Day of Forgiveness in Assisi, August 2, and the Medieval Festival in Corciano.The tour includes:
- Two days in Assisi: the Basilicas of St. Clare, St. Francis and Santa Maria Degli Angeli; San Damiano and more
- Cortona
- Perugia: the Medieval Gardens, St. Peter's Chruch and art works; an Estruscan alter; the underground city of Rocca Paulina and more
- Entrance to the "ideal city" La Scarzuola at Montegabbione, featuring circular and zoomorfic buildings, meditation areas, a crystal tower and a labyrinth of the soul (Florence will be our alternate site if we don not get the required 15 people for a Scarzuola tour)
- Two days and nights in Rome, guide and entrance to the Sistine Chapel included
- Tours of the Roman Forum and San Clemente Church in Rome
- 10 nights lodging, breakfast and dinner at Villa Pieve

ELIZABETH AN AUTHOR OF Interruptio
Elizabeth is an author in the book Interrupto, released in Italy in September 2010 and featured November 11 at the Umbria Book Festival. Published in Italian, the book features 5 Italian and 5 American artists sharing stories of how a major life interruption shaped their lives. Elizabeth's story is a recounting of a 1986 car accident that changed the course of her life.The book has been chosen to be featured as the first eBook as part of a project called iDea by publisher Fabrrizio Fabrbri Editore of EFFE, and is currently being translated into English.
