If you believe in accidents, then you might say that Elizabeth's public speaking career began by accident in 2002 when she was asked to fill-in for the keynote speaker at an exhibit opening at the Blanden Memorial Art Museum in Iowa. Elizabeth spoke for 20 minutes on the healing power of art to a packed exhibit hall. When the house lights came up, she was stunned to see that everyone in the audience was crying - moved to tears by her speech and her story on how art had helped her to find wholeness and healing after a severe head injury. Saying, "You're a natural!", the museum's director urged Elizabeth to pursue a career in motivational speaking.
Since 2002, Elizabeth has spoken at hundreds of venues on a wide variety of subjects. In addition to healing art, she now presents motivational and inspirational talks and lectures on topics as diverse as healing without cure, stress management, soulful aging, finding life purpose, heart-based living, accessing right brain capabilities and more. If you're looking for a dynamic, often humorous, always interesting speaker, Elizabeth can tailor a talk to suit the needs and interests of your organization.
