If you believe in accidents, then you might say that Elizabeth's public speaking career began by accident in 2002 when she was asked to fill-in for the keynote speaker at an exhibit opening at the Blanden Memorial Art Museum in Iowa. Elizabeth spoke for 20 minutes on the healing power of art to a packed exhibit hall. When the house lights came up, she was stunned to see that everyone in the audience was crying - moved to tears by her speech and her story on how art had helped her to find wholeness and healing after a severe head injury. Saying, "You're a natural!", the museum's director urged Elizabeth to pursue a career in motivational speaking.
Since 2002, Elizabeth has spoken at hundreds of venues on a wide variety of subjects. In addition to healing art, she now presents motivational and inspirational talks and lectures on healing writing/healing power of words, healing without cure, stress management, finding life purpose, body-mind-spirit topics, accessing right brain capabilities and more. If you're looking for a dynamic, often humorous, always interesting speaker, Elizabeth can tailor a talk to suit the needs and interests of your business, social or religious organization, school, artist's guild or health care facility.
